Here at Pfunzo Yashu Organization, we are committed to a single goal; we strive to make the world a better place. . We are a private, non-profit organization dedicated to finding volunteers to help those in need overcome challenges, while developing meaningful relationships with them.
Pfunzo Yashu Foundation is a non-profit organization which was established by Masuvhelele Ronewa (Wits Mining Student) in 2015 after realizing the challenges that South Africa is facing when it comes to the education system.
This organization proposes to enhance the lack of technology in rural areas and out skirts of urban areas in large, the state of poverty there and lack of proper education more especially the access to higher education. Basic education for the children is the backbone of the community therefore it is viewed as a human right since education contributes to the reduction of both absolute and relative poverty. Basic education, in particular, helps to alleviate poverty by helping poor people improve their lives. The organization has identify out of most the rural areas that are found mainly in Limpopo and other provinces in South Africa.
The way In which the Education system is operating most learners from disadvantaged areas end up giving up on their dreams and hunger to a bright future and to actually empower most of the people in the community in large, which then leads to the increasing number of unemployment mainly in our country.

Our Work
We strive to do it all here at Pfunzo Yashu Organization. Our Non-Profit Organization provides a dynamic work environment where deadlines are met and goals are not only met, but they are exceeded. We work on many exciting initiatives to improve the lives of others, and are very proud of the work we do. The following activities will be conducted as per visit to various schools in rural areas.
mentorship programs
Motivation talks.
recruitment of more staff members within the rural areas
Gathering of data needed to help out learners.
Provide career guidance.
Assessment of the welfare of learners.
Identify the basic needs of the schools.
Provide application forms from various universities.
Provide bursary application forms.
Engage with teachers to find most effective ways in which learners can use to get good grades.
Provide free extra classes during school holidays.
Ensure that every learner goes to higher learning institution after completing matric.
Engage with parents/guardians to ensure that learners get strong support system from their homes.
Assist with online applications since most institutions have emerged on paperless applications.
The team will conduct comprehensive educational needs and public communication infrastructure/practice assessments. Investigators will also document all interaction and participant observation using videographer, photo documentary, and pod-casting methods in order to ensure improved education and socioeconomic well-being of the population.

Our organization was born out of a commitment to stop passing over the real problems of humanity, and deal with them head on. We have set out to aid those who need it the most. We are prepared to offer our help to best performing learners in grade 12 and first year students in university.
We will accommodate learners who come from disadvantageous families.
We will target learners that are unable to provide basic needs necessary to make their life enjoyable in university level.
Learners from grade 9 to grade 12 through motivational talks.
People who have completed matric and tertiary level and currently doing nothing.
Drop-outs in high school and tertiary level.
We will also lay strong foundation on career guidance to learners from grade 8 and 9 so that they know which path to take when they progress to grade 10.
